What is TP1/C12000 copper?
TP1 phosphorus-deoxidized copper is a type of oxygen-free copper material with low residual phosphorus content, offering higher electrical and thermal conductivity compared to TP2. It exhibits good weldability and cold-bending properties, with no tendency toward "hydrogen embrittlement" when processed or used in reducing atmospheres. The material is primarily supplied in tubular form but can also be processed into plates, strips, bars, or wires. It is widely used in manufacturing equipment such as gasoline/gas transfer pipes, condensers, heat exchangers, drainage pipes, naval mine tubes, and railway carriage components.
The chemical composition requires copper + silver (Cu+Ag) content to be no less than 99.9%, with phosphorus (P) controlled between 0.004% and 0.012%. In terms of mechanical properties, the tensile strength ranges from 215 to 275 MPa, hardness spans 55 to 100 HV, providing a balance of moderate strength and plasticity.

Material Characteristics
Higher electrical and thermal conductivity than TP2 (C12200) due to lower residual phosphorus - about 85-90% IACS;
excellent weldability and solderability; no hydrogen-embrittlement tendency in reducing atmospheres;
good cold formability - bends, flares and deep draws without cracking;
good general corrosion resistance in water and neutral media.
Primary Applications
Energy transfer systems: fluid transfer components such as gasoline/gas pipes, drainage pipes, condenser tubes, etc.
Heat exchange equipment: core components including condenser tubes, evaporator tubes, heat exchanger tubes.
Transportation equipment: railway carriage parts, gasoline/gas pipes, drainage pipes, condenser tubes, naval mine tubes, condensers, evaporators, heat exchangers, etc.

Our factory
We are a specialized manufacturer of premium copper products, including rods, tubes, plates, bars, wires, and strips. Our factory strictly adheres to international standards such as ASTM, EN, JIS, and GB, ensuring material compliance for global markets. Equipped with modern production lines-including continuous casting for rods, cold drawing machines for tubes, and precision rolling mills for strips-we maintain tight control over dimensions and tolerances. Every batch undergoes rigorous in-house testing using spectrometers for chemical composition, tensile testers for mechanical properties, and eddy current testers for defect detection. Our dedicated quality lab guarantees traceable, reliable products for electrical, automotive, and engineering applications worldwide.

Copper product packaging
Our copper product packaging always prioritizes safety protection and professional identification. Copper rods and profiles are securely bundled with steel straps and fixed on reinforced wooden pallets, with waterproof and moisture-proof film wrapped around the exterior. Copper tubes are equipped with protective caps on both ends and packaged in custom-designed cartons or wooden crates with internal cushioning materials. Copper plates and strips are interleaved with anti-rust paper and fully encapsulated in steel-edged crates. All packages are affixed with clear product labels, specifications, and moisture-proof tags. For high-purity copper materials or those with special application requirements (such as oxygen-free copper wires and high-end copper strips), we also offer professional nitrogen-filled sealed packaging to ensure complete oxygen isolation during transportation and storage, preventing oxidation and maintaining the optimal performance and surface condition of the materials.
