The short answer: C10100 Oxygen-Free Electronic copper (OFE Grade 1) is the "Gold Standard" that typically exceeds all other regional equivalents. However, understanding the subtle differences in impurity limits (like Phosphorus and Sulfur) is vital for high-reliability applications.

Sulfur (S): Excess sulfur can lead to "hot shortness" during welding. C10100 keeps Sulfur at < 15 ppm, ensuring flawless joints in vacuum brazing.

Procurement Tip: The "Grade 1" vs "Grade 2" Trap

In some markets, "Oxygen-Free Copper" is sold without specifying the Grade. ASTM B170 Grade 2 (C10200) is only 99.95% pure. While it is "Oxygen-Free," it is NOT "Electronic Grade."
