FAQ
What file formats do you accept for CNC machining?
We accept STEP (.stp), IGES (.igs), STL, DXF, DWG, and PDF files. If you only have a physical sample, we can also do reverse engineering.
Do I need to pay for mold or tooling?
No. CNC machining is mold-free. There is a one-time programming and setup fee for new parts, but no tooling or mold costs like injection molding.
What is your minimum order quantity?
We accept orders starting from 1 piece. Whether you need a single prototype for testing or 10,000 units for production, we can handle it.
How do you ensure quality?
We use a three-stage quality control process: incoming material inspection (verifying grade and certificates), in-process inspection during machining, and final inspection using CMM, micrometers, and surface testers. We can provide a full inspection report with your shipment if requested.
What materials do you have in stock?
We stock over 50 materials including Aluminum (6061-T6, 7075, 6082), Stainless Steel (303, 304, 316L, 17-4PH), Steel (1214L, 1045, 4140), Brass (C360, C464), Copper (C101, C110), Titanium (Grade 2, Grade 5), and Plastics (PEEK, Delrin, Nylon, PTFE, ABS, Polycarbonate). If you need a specific grade not listed, we can source it.
What tolerances can you hold?
Standard tolerance is ±0.01 mm. For tight tolerance requirements, we can hold down to ±0.005 mm depending on part geometry and material.
How long does it take to get a quote?
We typically send quotations within 24 hours after receiving your drawings. For urgent requests, we can respond the same day.
What is your typical production lead time?
Prototypes: 3-7 working days. Small to medium batches: 10-15 working days. Large volume production: 15-25 working days depending on quantity. Lead times are confirmed when you place the order.
Can you help if my design isn't finalized?
Yes. Our engineers can review your concept and provide DFM (Design for Manufacturing) feedback to improve manufacturability and reduce cost before you finalize the design.
What surface finishes can you apply?
We offer a full range of finishes including as-machined (deburred and cleaned), bead blasting, anodizing (Type II clear or color, Type III hard coat), plating (nickel, zinc, chrome), passivation for stainless steel, powder coating, polishing, and black oxide. Just specify what you need on your drawing or PO.
