Unalloyed copper, often known as oxygen-free copper, has excellent corrosion resistance as well as excellent thermal and electrical qualities. These oxygen-free coppers are ideal for applications requiring good conductivity and ductility. Under high vacuum, C10100 OFE possesses excellent ductility, strong electrical and thermal conductivity, and low volatility.
Copper UNS C10100 Tubes are used for a variety of applications, including electrical and electronic conductors, High Resistance-Ratio Cryogenic Shunts, Bus Conductors, Hollow Conductors, Anodes for Vacuum Tubes, Coaxial Tube, Microwave Tubes, Waveguides, Cavity resonators, Superconductor matrixes, Vacuum tube, and solid-state devices, and Glass-to-metal seals, among others.
