What is TP1/C12000 copper?
TP1 Oxygen-Free Copper is a high-performance copper alloy material known for its excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and processing performance. It is widely used in energy transmission, heat exchange, transportation, and other fields.

Phosphorus (P) content: 0.004%–0.012%
Total impurities ≤ 0.1%
The addition of phosphorus reduces oxygen content through deoxidation processes, while also improving the material's ductility and corrosion resistance.
Performance Advantages
Electrical and Thermal Conductivity: Residual phosphorus content is lower than in TP2, resulting in superior electrical and thermal conductivity, making it suitable for high thermal conduction requirements.
Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to corrosion in ambient atmosphere, fresh water, and seawater. Capable of resisting cold/hot dilute sulfuric acid and cold concentrated acids, but corrodes rapidly in sulfur- and nitrogen-containing solutions as well as nitric acid.
Processing Performance: Excellent welding and cold bending properties, with no susceptibility to "hydrogen disease" (hydrogen embrittlement), suitable for processing in reducing atmospheres.
Biofouling Resistance: Forms a protective copper ion layer on its surface in seawater, inhibiting marine organism attachment.
