What is H62 brass?
H62 brass rod is a common brass material based on a copper-zinc alloy, with an average copper content of 62% and zinc as the balance, containing trace impurities. This material possesses both good mechanical and machinability, excellent plasticity in the hot state, and fair plasticity in the cold state. It has good machinability, weldability, and corrosion resistance, but there is a risk of corrosion cracking. Due to its low price and wide applicability, it is commonly used to manufacture load-bearing parts such as pins, rivets, washers, nuts, conduits, pressure gauge springs, screens, and radiators.
