C11000 Electrolytic Tough Pitch (ETP) Copper is known for its high electrical and thermal conductivity, good corrosion resistance, and solderability. Copper Alloy C11000 Tubing has outstanding corrosion resistance to weathering and very good resistance to many chemicals. Copper C11000 Tubing is often used specifically for corrosion resistance. Copper C11000 Tubes are suitable for use with most waters like potable waters, many industrial and mine waters, seawater, and brackish water, and can be used underground because it resists soil corrosion.
Our Copper Alloy C11000 Tubes are also resistant to non-oxidizing minerals such as hydrochloric and sulphuric acids; organic acids such as acetic acid including acetates and vinegar, carbolic, citric, formic, oxalic, tartaric, and fatty acids; acidic solutions containing sulfur. These Copper C11000 Tubes are considered immune to SCC in ammonia and the similar media that cause season cracking in brass and other copper alloys.
