Wire selection of copper, mainly because it is the "king of cost-effective!
1. super conductivity: copper is second only to silver, but silver is too expensive (1 gram of silver = 3 grams of copper), copper conductivity is enough for daily use, low resistance and more power saving.
2. good ductility: can be pulled into a hair-thin wire, bending and folding is not easy to break, suitable for complex wiring.
3. corrosion resistance: although not as good as gold, but much stronger than iron, aluminum, not easy to rust and short-circuit (aluminum wire is easy to oxidize resistance, and the joints will even catch fire).

4. Recycling cost-effective: after the dismantling of old wires, copper can be sold at a high price (currently about 55 yuan / kg), the recycling rate of more than 90%, environmental protection and save money.
Comparison of other materials: although aluminum is cheap, but poor conductivity (need to thicken the diameter of the wire instead of the cost of materials), iron is easy to rust, gold and silver is too expensive. In summary, copper is the optimal solution to balance performance, cost and durability.
