The factory hardness is usually around 100HB.
C12000 is copper refined with elemental phosphorus and residual trace amounts of phosphorus. Since phosphorus strongly reduces the electrical conductivity of copper, phosphorus deoxidized copper is usually used as a structural material, and if used as a conductor, deoxidized copper with low residual phosphorus should be used. No hydrogen embrittlement under general conditions, can be processed and used in reducing atmosphere conditions, but should not be processed and used in high temperature oxidizing conditions.
C12000 welding performance and cold bending performance is good, generally no "hydrogen disease" tendency, can be processed in a reducing atmosphere, use, but should not be processed in an oxidizing atmosphere, use.C12000 residual phosphorus is less, so its electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity is higher. It is mainly applied as tubes, but can also be supplied as plates, strips or rods and wires. Used as gasoline or gas transportation pipe, drain pipe, condensate pipe, condenser, evaporator, heat exchanger, train box parts.

The thermal processing and heat treatment specifications for C12000 are:
Annealing temperature: 400-650 degrees. Hot working temperature: 800-900 degrees Celsius
C12000 chemical properties:
Oxidation resistance: poor oxidation resistance at high temperatures
Corrosion resistance: C12000 in the room temperature atmosphere, fresh water and seawater with corrosion resistance, but also resistant to cold or hot dilute sulfuric acid, cold concentrated acid erosion. However, it corrodes faster in sulfur and, nitrogen and nitrogen solutions, and is easily corroded by nitric acid.
C12000 has excellent biocorrosion resistance, is used in the marine environment, one of the excellent materials, this is because in the seawater copper parts of the surface of the existence of a small number of copper ions, these copper ions effectively impede the attachment of marine organisms.
