C17510 Beryllium Copper is an alloy used primarily in applications that require high thermal or electric conductivity. The alloy offers good strength and hardness characteristics coupled with conductivity in the range of 45-60 percent of copper with ultimate tensile and hardness properties approaching 140 ksi and RB 100 respectively.

Fabrication and Heat Treatment
Cold Working
UNS C17510 copper alloys have excellent cold working capacity.
Welding
Welding processes such as brazing, gas shielded arc welding, butt welding, seam welding, coated metal arc welding, soldering and spot welding are recommended for UNS C17510 copper alloys, whereas oxyacetylene welding is not suitable for these alloys.
Forging
UNS C17510 copper alloys can be hot worked between 648 and 885°C (1200 and 1625°F).
Hot Working
UNS C17510 copper alloys can be hot formed in an excellent manner.
