Copper Type K L M Pipe Size PDF
Products Description
C70600 (C706) & C71500 (C715), Copper nickel offers excellent corrosion resistance, especially in marine salt water environments. The main, wrought copper-nickel alloys chosen for sea water service contain 10 or 30 percent nickel. They also have important additions of iron and manganese which are necessary to maintain good corrosion resistance. Some of the primary uses for C706 include copper nickel fittings (CuNi Fittings) as well as condensers and exchanger shells.
What is SB111 C70600 material?
The SB 111 c70600 is a type of copper-nickel alloys which exhibits superior resistance to impingement attack. They are also highly resistant to SCC. This specification establishes the requirements for ferrule stock and a seamless tube of copper alloys of a specified range of diameters.
What is ASTM B466 uns C70600 material?
ASTM B466 C70600 Copper Nickel Seamless Pipes and Tubes
C70600 copper-nickel is an alloy of copper, further classified as a copper-nickel (cupronickel). CW352H is the EN numeric designation for this material. C70600 is the UNS number. Additionally, the EN chemical designation is CuNi10Fe1Mn. The British Standard (BS) designation is CN102. And the industry name is Cupronickel 90/10.

What is C7060T material?
C7060T copper-nickel alloy is primarily used for seawater service as forged and machined valve and pump components, fittings and hardware. This alloy is also used in applications requiring high corrosion resistance and where chloride stress-corrosion cracking precaution prevents usage of stainless steels.
What are the three types of copper pipe?
Copper pipe falls into three categories according to wall thickness:
Type K: Extra thick-wall copper pipe (less common in residential applications)
Type L: Thick-wall copper pipe.
Type M: Thin-wall copper pipe.
