What is C26000 metal?
C26000 copper tube is a 70/30 copper-zinc alloy (brass) with good plasticity, strength, machinability, welding and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in heat exchangers, papermaking equipment, mechanical parts, building water supply systems and other fields. The "C26000" in its name is the American ASTM standard grade, and the corresponding Japanese JIS standard grade is C2600.

Conforms to ASTM B135 standard and is suitable for general use. The outer diameter can be extended to 400mm and the wall thickness is up to 42.5mm, involving special customization or specific application scenarios.
JIS standard (Japan)
Outer diameter: 3mm~200mm
Wall thickness: 0.5mm~10mm
Conforms to JIS H3300 standard.
EN standard (Europe)
Outer diameter: 6mm~267mm (general standard EN12449)
Wall thickness: 0.5mm~10mm.
In addition, the maximum outer diameter of C26000 copper tube in Chinese standard is usually 30mm, while the US standard can reach 105mm and the EU standard is 64mm. Customized service is provided, the outer diameter can reach 910mm, the wall thickness is 0.2mm~120mm, and the length can be freely cut.

Performance and Features
Corrosion resistance: performs well in the atmosphere, fresh water and partially reducing environments, suitable for condensers, evaporators, etc.
Processability: supports hot and cold processing, welding, tinning and other processes, and has no tendency to stress corrosion.
Physical properties: density 8.7g/cm³, high thermal conductivity, stable strength at low temperatures, and excellent antifreeze performance.

Processing performance:
Excellent cold and hot processing performance, suitable for complex forming such as deep drawing and molding.
Contains a small amount of lead (0.03-0.07%) to improve machinability and reduce tool wear.
Corrosion resistance:
Stable in general atmosphere, fresh water and sea water, but prone to stress corrosion cracking, annealing treatment is required to eliminate internal stress.
Easy to oxidize and dezincify at high temperature, and protective atmosphere processing is required.

Our products are packaged using professional, customized industrial packaging solutions to ensure they remain intact during long-distance transportation and multiple handlings. For long products such as copper tubes and bars, we use sturdy waterproof wooden crates or metal-frame boxes for secure fixing and protection. Copper plates and foils are individually wrapped with anti-rust paper, then packed into steel-edged boxes or on pallets with reinforced hard corners. Copper wires are wound with moisture-proof film and neatly coiled onto custom-designed reels or placed in wooden cases. All packaging is clearly marked according to customer requirements with shipping marks, specifications, batch numbers, and handling symbols. Desiccants can also be placed inside the packages when needed, providing complete protection against rust, moisture, and impact throughout the entire journey from production to the destination port.
