Alloy Composition and Properties
C61400 alloy is primarily composed of copper, aluminum, iron, and silicon. Its copper content is slightly lower than that of C61300, ranging from approximately 89% to 91%, while the aluminum content is between 6% and 8%. This composition gives C61400 alloy excellent corrosion resistance and superior mechanical strength. The addition of iron and silicon not only enhances wear resistance but also increases the alloy's strength and rigidity.
Physical and Mechanical Properties
C61400 alloy exhibits excellent ductility and good forgeability, making it an ideal material for the fabrication of complex parts.
