H96 Brass Chemical Composition
H96 copper alloy is primarily composed of copper and zinc, with copper content ranging between 95.0% and 97.0%, and zinc making up the remainder. Additionally, it contains trace amounts of elements such as nickel (≤0.5%), iron (≤0.10%), lead (≤0.03%), and others, with the total impurity content not exceeding 0.2%.
H96 Brass Performance Characteristics
Mechanical Properties: The strength of H96 brass is higher than that of pure copper but the lowest among ordinary brass alloys. Its tensile strength is typically ≥320 MPa, with an elongation ≥3%, demonstrating good plasticity and toughness.
Physical Properties: H96 brass exhibits excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, making it suitable for applications requiring efficient heat transfer or electrical conduction. At the same time, it shows high corrosion resistance in atmospheric and freshwater environments and has no tendency for stress corrosion cracking.
Processing Performance: H96 brass is easy to process through both cold and hot pressure methods, and it can be easily formed, welded, forged, and tin-plated. This provides high flexibility and adaptability during manufacturing.
H96 Brass Application Areas
General Mechanical Manufacturing: H96 brass is commonly used to manufacture components such as conduits, condenser tubes, radiator tubes, and heat dissipation fins. These parts require good heat transfer performance and corrosion resistance, which H96 brass adequately meets.
Automotive Industry: In the automotive industry, H96 brass can be used to manufacture components such as automotive radiator strips. These parts need to withstand high-temperature and high-pressure working environments, and the excellent properties of H96 brass make it an ideal choice.
Electrical Conducting Components: Due to its excellent electrical conductivity, H96 brass is also suitable for manufacturing electrical conducting parts such as wires and cables.

Copper product packaging
We adopt professional, safe, and environmentally compliant international standard packaging solutions. All products are custom-packaged according to their form and transportation requirements: pipes are reinforced with moisture-proof woven bags or wooden crates, with protective sleeves added to the ends; plates and strips are wrapped in anti-rust paper and placed in dry wooden crates or on pallets, with special protection for the edges; wires and rods are wrapped in waterproof film and secured on pallets or bundled wooden crates. All packaging includes clear labels detailing product specifications, grades, batch numbers, and shipping marks. Additionally, moisture-proof and anti-rust treatments are applied to withstand long-distance sea transport or special climate conditions, ensuring that the goods remain intact during transportation and storage. Our packaging meets the import standards of various countries.
