Copper-nickel alloys possess excellent thermal stability and conductivity. This particular grade of copper-nickel alloy has a high melting point and a large coefficient of thermal expansion, making it suitable for temperature control in heating equipment. Furthermore, it exhibits good resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Copper-nickel alloys perform optimally in reducing environments such as those containing chlorides, sulfides, alkalis, and other corrosive chemicals.
