Characteristics and Applications

C71500 white copper has the same properties and uses as C70600, with excellent cold and hot workability. C71500 white copper is primarily used for condenser tubes, distillation tubes, and heat exchanger casings.

 

Chemical Composition

Copper + Alloying Elements (Cu): ≥99.5%; Copper + Silver (Cu): ≤65.5%; Lead (Pb): ≤0.05%; Iron (Fe): 0.40-1.0%; Zinc (Zn): ≤1.0%; Nickel (Ni): 29.0-33.0%; Manganese (Mn): ≤1.0%; Other Elements: Note: When used for welding and upon request by the ordering party, the Zn content should be no greater than 0.50%, the Pb content no greater than 0.02%, P ≤ 0.02%, and C ≤ 0.05%.
