What is C21000 Brass Strip?
C21000 Brass Strip is a highly stable, low-maintenance roofing and curtain wall material that is environmentally friendly, safe, easy to process, and highly corrosion-resistant. Its stable protective layer allows the copper sheet to last for over a century. The economic performance of C21000 Brass Strip makes it one of the best metal roofing materials.
1) The yield strength and elongation of C21000 Brass Strip are inversely proportional. Copper sheet has extremely high hardness after bending, but this can be reduced through heat treatment.
2) Among all building metal materials, C21000 Brass Strip has the best elongation performance, offering significant advantages in architectural design.
3) C21000 Brass Strip has no processing temperature restrictions, does not easily become brittle at low temperatures, and can be thermofused at high melting points using oxygen blowing welding.
4) Fire-retardant and non-combustible material.
5) Even in extremely corrosive environments, C21000 Brass Strip can form a strong, non-toxic passivation protective layer, commonly known as "verdigris." Its chemical composition depends on local air conditions, but different compositions of patina provide the same protection to copper surfaces. This passivation film is very stable and can self-repair after damage. Its presence is difficult to detect with the naked eye.
