What is a C71500 copper nickel tube?

C70600 (C706) and C71500 (C715) copper-nickel alloys possess excellent corrosion resistance, making them particularly suitable for seawater environments. The main forged copper-nickel alloys used in seawater environments contain 10% or 30% nickel. Furthermore, they also contain significant amounts of iron and manganese to maintain good corrosion resistance. The main applications of C706 include copper-nickel fittings (CuNi fittings) as well as condenser and heat exchanger shells.
