Copper Nickel C706 is also known as Copper Nickel 90/10 because it contains 10% nickel and conforms to ASTM B466 and ASME SB466 standards. C706 is renowned for its moderate strength, weldability, and formability. The presence of moderate amounts of iron and manganese also imparts exceptional resistance to general corrosion and stress cracking, as well as erosion and impact from high-velocity, turbulent flows containing air bubbles and sludge.
