C44300 is based on copper (Cu) (70.0%-73.0%), with zinc (Zn) as the main alloying element (residual) and the addition of 0.9%-1.2% tin (Sn) and 0.02%-0.10% arsenic (As). The addition of tin significantly improves the corrosion resistance of the alloy, especially in the inhibition of dezincification corrosion is outstanding; trace amounts of arsenic to further strengthen the stability of the grain boundary, delaying the corrosion process.
