This assists chip breakage during machining, resulting in short, brittle chips that easily free themselves from the tooling, allowing for rapid machining. 

C14500 is a copper-based alloy that offers a wide range of benefits due to its unique combination of physical, mechanical, and chemical properties. This material is heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and highly machinable.
