The chemical composition of C44300 tin brass is as follows:
Copper (Cu): the content is 69.0% to 71.0%. Copper is the main component of tin brass, plays an important role in the electrical conductivity of the alloy, thermal conductivity and the underlying mechanical properties.
Tin (Sn): content of 0.8% ~ 1.3%. The addition of tin can improve the corrosion resistance and strength of brass, especially when dealing with corrosive environments such as seawater, the role of tin is more significant.
Nickel (Ni): 0.5%. Nickel can improve the performance of the alloy to a certain extent, enhance its corrosion resistance and strength.
Iron (Fe): 0.10%. Iron is present in the alloy as a trace element, and its content needs to be controlled within a certain range, otherwise it may adversely affect the performance of the alloy.

Lead (Pb): 0.05%. The presence of lead can improve the processing performance of the alloy, but lead is a hazardous substance, and its content needs to be strictly controlled.
Zinc (Zn): is residual. Zinc and copper form the basic structure of brass, and the content of zinc affects the colour, hardness, strength and other properties of the alloy.
Arsenic (As): the content of 0.03% to 0.06%. The addition of arsenic can inhibit the dezincification corrosion of brass and further improve the corrosion resistance of the alloy.
