The production process of TP2 copper violet tube includes melting, extrusion, drawing and heat treatment steps. During the melting process, pure copper raw material is added into the melting furnace and melted into liquid state under high temperature while removing the impurities in it. After melting, the copper liquid is poured into the extruder and extruded into a certain shape of copper rods. After being heated, the copper rods are stretched several times in the stretching machine to gradually reduce the diameter and increase the length. Finally, the stretched copper tubes need to be heat-treated to adjust their mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. The whole production process requires strict quality control to ensure the quality of the copper violet tube. In terms of representation, the state of TP2 purple copper tube can be categorized into M (soft state), Y2 (1/2 hard state), Y (hard state) and so on. For example, TP2Y denotes TP2 purple copper tube in hard state, TP2Y2 denotes TP2 purple copper tube in 1/2 hard state, while TP2M denotes TP2 purple copper tube in soft state.
