Bright annealed copper tubing is a nearly pure copper tubing manufactured to the requirements of ASTM B 68 (Standard Specification for Bright Annealed Seamless Copper Tubing). It may be constructed from any of the following alloys: C10200, C10300, C10800, C12000 or C12200, unless otherwise specified in the original contract or purchase order. ASTM B68 pipe is suitable for use in refrigeration, fuel, gasoline, or oil pipes where the inner surface of the pipe is essentially free of any scale or dirt and is specifically designated ASTM B68.
The annealing status of this pipe meets O50 (light annealing) or O60 (soft annealing), whether straight or coiled.
Seamless copper pipe has no welding points and has high strength. Because seamless copper pipes have no welding points during the manufacturing process, they have high strength and reliability. Ordinary copper pipes have more welding points and are slightly less strong.Seamless copper pipes are corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant. Because the seamless copper pipe has a flat surface and no welding points, it has good corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. Ordinary copper pipes have welding points and are susceptible to corrosion and high temperatures.
