Function of Copper Tee

Copper pipe tee mainly has the following physical functions:

I. Flow distribution function

1. It can divide one stream of fluid into two streams to realize the distribution of flow. For example, in the heating system, the hot water from the main pipe can be shunted to different rooms or areas through the copper pipe tee to ensure that all parts can get the required heat.

2. It is convenient to adjust the flow distribution ratio according to the actual demand. By changing the size of the pipe diameter of each interface of the tee and the resistance of the connecting pipes, the size of the fluid flow in different branches can be controlled.

2. For different temperatures or pressures of the fluid convergence, the tee can play a certain buffer role, so that the mixed fluid state is more stable.

Third, change the flow direction function

1. Allow the fluid in the piping system to change the flow direction. When the piping layout needs to change direction, copper pipe tee can easily realize this function, without the use of excessive elbow connections, reducing the pipeline resistance and pressure loss.
