Our copper-nickel alloys C70600 and C71500 are the preferred choice for demanding industries requiring robust, corrosion-resistant, and high-performance materials in corrosive aquatic environments.

Shipbuilding: Widely used in hull cladding, piping systems (seawater, bilge water, ballast water), heat exchangers, condensers, and other components exposed to corrosive seawater.

Offshore Oil and Gas: Due to prolonged exposure to extreme marine environments, these products are critical for piping, heat exchangers, subsea systems, and fire-fighting water systems on offshore platforms and floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels.

Desalination Plants: Due to their resistance to high-temperature corrosive brine, these products are critical for piping in multi-stage flash (MSF) and multi-effect distillation (MED) evaporators, brine heaters, and heat exchangers.

Power Generation (Condenser Systems): Used in steam condensers and heat exchangers, particularly suitable for coastal power plants using seawater cooling.

Chemical and Petrochemical Industries: Suitable for applications involving mildly corrosive chemicals, especially where chloride stress corrosion cracking is a significant concern. Refrigeration and HVAC: Used in heat exchanger piping that is cooled by brackish water or seawater.

Automotive braking systems: Certain copper-nickel alloys are used in brake lines due to their excellent corrosion resistance and ductility.
