C19200 and C19600 are two high-performance copper-iron alloys with excellent physical, chemical and mechanical properties, which are widely used in many industrial fields.
C19200 copper-iron alloy
C19200, also known as iron-containing copper alloy, is a copper-based alloy material with excellent properties. Its main chemical composition includes copper (Cu) and iron (Fe), of which the content of copper is extremely high, usually not less than 98.70%, while the content of iron is between 0.8~1.2%. In addition, the alloy may contain other trace elements such as phosphorus (P) to meet specific performance requirements.C19200 has good cold and hot workability, as well as excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. It has a density of 8.86 g/cm³, a thermal conductivity of 125 to 150 Btu/sqft/ft hr/°F at 20°C, and an electrical conductivity of 50 to 65% IACS.High strength levels can be achieved with appropriate heat treatment, with excellent tensile and yield strengths. Typical tensile strength is 65 ksi in the 1/2Hard condition and 70 ksi in the Extra Hard condition. In addition, C19200 has a certain degree of stress corrosion resistance, and is able to maintain stable performance under harsh environmental conditions. It is widely used in electrical and heat exchange equipment, especially in environments requiring high electrical and thermal conductivity, such as the manufacture of electronic components such as cable wraps, circuit breaker parts, connectors, contact springs, fuse clips, lead frames and terminals, and can also be used in the manufacture of hydraulic brake lines, air-conditioning tubes, heat exchangers, and parts requiring stress corrosion resistance.

C19600 copper-iron alloy
C19600 is a high-performance copper-based alloy with good machinability, easy cold and hot molding, and good casting performance. It is mainly composed of copper (Cu) and iron (Fe), with copper content ≥97.6% and iron content between 0.9~1.2%, and may contain other trace elements such as tin (Sn), zinc (Zn), lead (Pb), etc. C19600 has high strength and electrical conductivity, as well as good corrosion resistance. It is widely used in the electrical industry, instrumentation industry, shipbuilding industry and machinery manufacturing industry sectors, especially for the production of elastic components, pipe fittings, chemical instruments, wear-resistant parts and antimagnetic parts.
By virtue of their excellent comprehensive performance, these two ferroalloys play an important role in their respective industrial fields, meeting the needs of equipment for high strength, high electrical conductivity and good corrosion resistance.
