What is a C70600 copper nickel tube?
ASTM B111 UNS C70600 copper-nickel alloy is a copper-based alloy with nickel as the main alloying element. The copper content is approximately 90%, and the nickel content is approximately 10%. Its thermal conductivity is similar to that of carbon steel, while its coefficient of thermal expansion is similar to that of austenitic stainless steel, and its melting point is as high as 1149℃.

Processing Properties
C70600 is easy to work with, both hot and cold, and can be formed through various methods such as forging, rolling, and drawing. It has good weldability and can be joined using methods such as gas welding, resistance welding, and laser welding. Furthermore, due to its suitable hardness and machinability, it can be processed by cutting and milling. For surface treatment, mechanical polishing, electroplating, and sandblasting can be performed to improve its appearance and corrosion resistance.
