C15715 is a diffusion strengthened copper which improves its strength and wear resistance by adding a small amount of titanium carbide particles to the copper matrix. These titanium carbide particles are distributed in a diffuse state in the copper matrix, effectively hindering the movement of dislocations and thus increasing the strength and hardness of the material.
