High-performance Material C15000 Zirconium-copper alloy is a special copper alloy classified as Zirconium Copper according to the United States Uniform Numbering System (UNS). By adding small amounts of zirconium to copper, this alloy is designed to increase its strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance, while maintaining the copper's good electrical and thermal conductivity. The addition of zirconium also improves the alloy's creep resistance, i.e. its ability to resist deformation under long-term loading.
