Processing and Handling Recommendations for C23000 Brass Welded Tube
Cold working: suitable for stamping and drawing, annealing is required after work hardening (annealing temperature 500-700°C).
Welding: silver brazing or argon arc welding is recommended to avoid the volatilization of zinc vapors (zinc boiling point 907 ℃).
Surface treatment:
Chemical polishing: enhance the red copper color.
Electroplated nickel/chromium: to enhance wear and corrosion resistance.
Passivation: For outdoor environment to prevent oxidation.
