For precision-ground and polished copper bars, we apply a protective oil (optional) and individually wrap each one with acid-free tissue paper or a rust-preventive VCI (vapor phase corrosion inhibitor) film to prevent surface degradation. The copper bars are then separated by foam or wooden pads to prevent direct metal-to-metal contact and secured with abrasion-free strapping, finally wrapped in multiple layers of moisture-proof film. For international shipping, we use custom-made plywood crates, reinforced internally and containing desiccant packets to control humidity.
