The properties of C70600 copper-nickel alloy depend greatly on the heat treatment process. The following are recommended heat treatment regimes:
Solution treatment: Heat to 950-1000°C, hold for 1-2 hours, followed by rapid cooling to room temperature. This process improves the strength and corrosion resistance of the alloy.
Ageing treatment: After solid solution treatment, hold at 450-550°C for 4-6 hours to further increase strength.
